Kruse Family (Edwin Ramirez Home Build)

I’d like to share the heartfelt reason we are sponsoring a home for Edwin Ramirez and raising funds to help make it possible.

I met Edwin during a mission trip, and his story has stayed with me ever since. Edwin is a young man carrying a responsibility far beyond his years as he raises his two younger brothers. During that trip, he was one of the Mariachi musicians who surprised me and others with a birthday celebration, a moment of joy I will never forget. But what touched me most was not the music—it was Edwin’s quiet strength, his love for his brothers, and his determination to give them the stable family life they deserve. After losing their mother several years ago and their father more recently, Edwin and his brothers were left without parents to guide and care for them. Edwin has stepped into that role with courage, taking over his father’s taxi job to provide for the family. Yet despite his hard work, their current home is not safe or sustainable.

Every contribution, no matter the size, is more than a donation—it is a step toward giving Edwin and his brothers the safety, stability, and hope every family deserves.
